    1. Participants must be aged 14-18, and submit the online application on or before 31 May 2017.
    2. The Organiser (Junior Achievement HK) will inform the successful applicants. Participants must pay the $500 refundable deposit, together with a signed copy of the parental consent form.
    3. Participants must wear running shoes and comfortable attire suitable for sporting events.
    4. Some of the activities of the JA Startmeup Summer Boot Camp (the program) will involve vigorous exercises/running by team members. All participants should make sure they are physically fit for the event. Any individual who is suffering from any chronic disease such as heart disease or high blood pressure should not participate in the event.
    5. All participants have to attend all the activities on time during the period of the boot camp from 14 – 18 July 2017. Otherwise the deposit will be deducted on a pro-rata basis.
    6. The Organiser will cover only public liability insurance. All participants will take part in the program entirely at their own risk and cannot hold the Organiser or any partners, sponsors or their employees liable for any injury, death or any damage to or loss or destruction of property or any other economic loss or for any consequential loss in any such case arising from any accident or mishap or otherwise arising from or connected with this program, whether during or after this program, in preparation for it, travelling to or from it or otherwise.
    7. The Organiser will provide only limited storage space for personal items and is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property. All personal belongings are brought to the event at the risk of their owners.
    8. The Organiser, sponsor and media partner(s) may take photographs, video and/or audio recordings of the program proceedings, which may appear subsequently in the online and/or offline marketing materials of the Organiser and sponsor and/or in the television programmes and/or news articles of media partner(s). By taking part in the program all participants consent to the use and reproduction of such photographs, video and/or audio recordings by the Organiser, its sponsor and media partner(s).
    9. The Organiser may collect, store and use the personal data (as defined in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance) provided by the participants for the purpose of or in connection with the program and such collection, storage and use are lawful in these circumstances.
    10. The Organiser shall decide at its absolute discretion the program arrangements according to the prevailing situation and is not obliged to give prior notice to participants and reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations at any time.
    11. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule the program if the red/black/amber rainstorm warning is issued or tropical cyclone No. 3 or above is hoisted on the day of the event. Should such circumstances arise on the day of the event, an announcement will be made to that effect on the program website by 6.00 a.m. on that day. In the event of cancellation, the deposit will be refunded.
    12. The Terms and Conditions of the JA Startmeup Summer Boot Camp shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
    13. In the event of any dispute regarding the JA Startmeup Summer Boot Camp, the decision of the Organiser shall be final.
    14. In case of any discrepancy between the English version and the Chinese version of the JA Startmeup Summer Boot Camp information on this website, the English version shall prevail.
